General Development Discussion

The purpose of this section is to discuss various techniques and how some APIs handle them. To begin with we will only be covering Photon and SmartFoxServer. As I have time, I may look into other server solutions such as ElectroTank and uLink. There won't be as much code in these tutorials but rather some general discussion on practices and techniques.

Feel free to use the comments section to suggest topics of interest.

Hi Dragagon,
Thank you for this site. It is very informative.
Could you, if possible, highlight which server you might choose...Photon or Smartfox?
Are they equal with differences or is there something fundamentally better about one that would make it your first choice?

I posted a small article listing the differences between the two. As i state in the article, I don't want to endorse one or the other as they are both great.
